After totally neglecting this site for close to a year and a half, I figured I should start updating again. So with the new resolve to maintain my vigilance, I’ve redone the layout.
Not everything is fixed up again, but it’s pretty good for now I guess. I haven’t decided if I want to migrate over my old posts to the new format. That’s probably just a project that will happen down the road.
The new site is a simple design I made in Adobe Photoshop. It uses the 960 Grid System for layout and WordPress for the backend. This is a major step for the site since for the past 9 years, it has run on 2 different backends I wrote from scratch. The first being a perl cgi implementation and the second written in php.
I still need to update the gallery (and upload more photos I guess), and properly implement the linkblog for quick posting of interesting links. I’ll probably try to add in the random stuff again but that’ll probably be it for the site, unless I can think of something else.
